Exhibition Kemmern – Aspen draws a comparative line between America’s Aspen, and Latvia’s seaside ex-resort town Ķemeri (Kemmern) inviting artists, musicians, viewers and theorists for a retreat session together.
The modules of “Café Europa”, a co-operation project between the Belgian city of Mons and Riga, the 2014 European Capital of Culture, have left Mons on a 200-kilometre journey to Riga.
On August 16th for the first time in Latvia in Spikeri Square during Riga City Festival Riga Funk Fest will take place, organized by Wise Music Society together with Rīgas Spīķeri.
On August 16th, as part of Rīga Festival 2014, opening at "Spīķeri quarter" central square will be the "Riga Festival Restaurant", where 15 of Rīga's best restaurants and cafes will be operating simultaneously.
