The Estonian musical siblings Mihkel and Mari Poll each chose his and her own instrument and country of residence.  Mihkel studied under British pianist Ronan O’Hora at the London Guildhall School of Music and Theatre before returning to Estonia and appearing together with various orchestras in Scandinavia, Europe and the United States.  He recently released his debut album of 20th century piano music.  Violinist Mari studied at the London Royal College of Music, after which she moved to Norway and became the accompanist for the symphony orchestra in Stavanger.  Mari has won numerous competitions and received scholarships.  She has appeared in Europe, the United States and New Zealand, and this autumn she will be working with an orchestra in Paris together with the distinguished violinist Viktoria Mullova and the conductor Paavo Jarvi.  Her debut album was released by EMI Classics and includes opuses from the 20th century.  The siblings come together in the field of chamber music, with emotional and sometimes imperceptibly fragile music – the spirit of Viennese music thanks to the music of Johannes Brahms and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and the sounds of Paris with a sonata by George Enesco and opuses by Sergey Prokofiev.
