In December 21, 2013 free skating rink was open in Spikeri. Rink is open daily 10:00 – 22:00 is planned that the first season of the rink will be open until March 31, 2014 (depending on weather).

The project is funded by the Riga City Council and expected to be able to skate in Spikeri over the coming seasons.
